Booked your first ever bridal appointment? Not sure what to expect?

We ensure our customers have an outstanding experience from their first appointment with us until the day they collect their fabulous wedding gown. Our initial “first time try” appointment consists of exploring a variety of styles to pinpoint what is right for our bride, this appointment lasts for two hours. We create a calm and comfortable atmosphere with an initial consultation to discuss a number of wedding details and what it is our bride is looking for. During this time our brides and their guests are offered a bespoke, private service with complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks, a celebratory prosecco and snacks. This is a standard affair during every visit our brides make to the store. During your first appointment it why not bring some shoes with you and have your hair done the way you think you want it for the wedding? This will give you an overall feel when you try our beautiful dresses on.

The brides “try your dress” appointment is a celebratory occasion for our brides to bring along their guests to show them their dress! We make this occasion a happy, exciting one and allow the bride to use this time to try a variety of veils, belts, jackets and headpieces to complete their bridal look – this appointment lasts one hour and thirty minutes. At this time, our brides are allocated to one of our three dedicated seamstress who will offer their services either at the store during store opening hours or offer the flexibility of home fittings at a time to suit them. During this process we do not recommend wearing any make-up or fake tan products as this is YOUR dress!

Once the alterations are completed, the final process consists of the preparation of the dress. All staff at the store are trained by our creative director to prepare, iron and steam dresses correctly. The brides dress is prepared days in advance of her collection date to ensure everything is prepared correct and that all additional extras are also ready for collection. The dress is unveiled to the bride in its own changing room for the bride to check over before she signs to say she is happy with. If the bride is getting married abroad, we also offer a packing service where the dress will be prepared and then packed in a travel box ready for the bride to take on an aeroplane.

From the initial appointment the bride has our undivided attention to ensure the bride gets the best experience from the store. The combination of offering high-end designer gowns, set appointment times, knowledgeable staff, dedicated seamstresses, dress preparation… and not forgetting the complimentary beverages ensures that our brides have an outstanding experience from day one!


*We kindly ask that you do not take photographs of our dresses in-store unless your dress has been purchased.

**From 1st April 2018, all future Saturday appointments require a £20.00 refundable deposit in order to secure the appointment. £20.00 will be refunded during the appointment or deducted from the invoice if you make an order with us.
Please note that 72 hours notice is required if you cannot make the appointment. We will happily transfer your £20.00 refundable deposit to a different day/time if you contact us within the correct time period. If you contact us to cancel your appointment within the 72 hours before your appointment, you will lose your deposit as we may not be able to fill your appointment slot.
If you wish to book in for a re-try appointment on a Saturday, the same rules apply at a £10.00 charge.
